Futurama's Back Baby!

Pretty much all I listen to while I do homework is Futurama episodes. I have all five seasons in a playlist on random and loop ^_^ I dunno, I still think it's one of the funniest, wittiest, and smartest cartoons ever to exist. And hurray, they're bringing the show back! Wired has written a huge article about the return of the show, and the creators behind it. Did you know that Matt Groening has never seen an episode of Star Trek?!

Happy Holidays!

Well this ended up being our Christmas card photo for this year, so happy holidays from my family to yours! I hope everyone is merrily stuffed with turkey and pie, and has fun new gadgets from shopping! I think this is the first Thanksgiving where I had 4 Thanksgiving meals... and my mom and I randomly made 4 pies today! ^_^ But we're too full from this whole weekend to eat them, so I guess I'll be snacking on pumpkin pie for the next few weeks. After having the most relaxing weekend ever, I don't know how I'm going to survive the last 3 weeks of school...

(I tried to get my hamsters in the photo, but they weren't cooperating. Oh well, one day there will be A DOG. :sigh:)

First Annual 20 Worst Foods in America

Men's Health has made a list of the 20 worst foods in America, with titles like "Worst Chicken", "Worst Pizza" and "Worst Supermarket Meal." Luckily I've never eaten any of the meals on the list ^_^ Except.. surprise surprise - Chipotle's chicken burrito made the list at number 16 with a whopping 1,179 calories! When customers ask me how many calories are in a burrito, and I say upwards of 1,000, they kind of just stare at me blankly for a bit, and then go ahead with ordering their burrito, and tack on chips with guac and a Coke. Yikes people, you're insane.

The way I eat my burritos at Chipotle: plain white rice in a bol (none of that cilantro/lime juice crap), chicken, corn salsa, an extreeeeeemely small dab of sour cream, and I go to the cooler and add red onions and jalapeƱos. Of course, customers can't get extra onions and jalapeƱos, and we get upset when they ask for plain rice, but really, all you have to do is get rid of the tortilla, cheese and sour cream! And it wouldn't hurt to NOT ask for extra rice and meat. :sigh: It's depressing serving fat people fat food. But then again, I'd probably feel worse working at a health food store like Pulp and realize how much sugar I'm pumping into their smoothies...

Flight Patterns

Flight Patterns - The US's air traffic, as seen from space. Prettiest video I've seen in a while.
